Psychotherapy for Women

You’ve always managed. Until now.

The planner, the fixer, the one who holds it together — for your family, your career, everyone around you. You're good at this. You've been good at this for a long time.

But something's shifted. Maybe it's anxiety that used to be manageable and suddenly isn't. Maybe it's exhaustion that sleep doesn't touch. Maybe you're starting to wonder who you are outside of everything you do for everyone else. Maybe it's all of it at once.

Whatever brought you here, you don't have to figure it out alone, and you don't have to wait until it gets worse.

I work with women in their 30s to 60s navigating anxiety, perfectionism, burnout, and the identity shifts of midlife — including the often-overlooked role hormonal changes play in all of it.

Areas of Specialty

Person with dark hair wearing a gray hoodie, hugging their knees in front of a plain light-colored wall.

Anxiety & Perfectionism

The high standards, the self-criticism, and the mental load that never really switches off.

A woman with dark hair, wearing a dark green sweater and gray socks, sitting on a wooden chair with her knees pulled up to her chest. She is holding her head with both hands, fingers tangled in her hair, and appears to be distressed or upset. The background is plain, inside a room with neutral-colored walls.

Midlife Identity & Burnout

The flatness. The restlessness.

The sense that you’ve spent so long taking care of everything and everyone that you’ve lost track of who you actually are.

A silhouette of a person standing alone on a large open grassy field with a foggy atmosphere and a distant tree line in the background.

Perimenopause & Mental Health

Anxiety that came from nowhere.

Emotions that don’t make sense.

A version of you that you don’t recognize.

The hormonal changes of midlife are real and impact our mental health.

How I Work

I offer a space where you can stop performing - probably for the first time in a long time. Some women need practical tools to quiet the noise. Others need to understand why their mind works the way it does. Most need both. Whatever brings you here, we'll figure out what you need and build from there.

I know what it is to be the woman who has it together on the outside.

I didn’t just study this. I’ve lived it. Anxiety and perfectionism after my child was born. And now my own midlife reckoning.

I know what it’s like to be the woman who holds it together, and I know what it’s like when that stops working.

So I’m not going to tell you to lower your standards or necessarily slow down. I’m going to help you figure out why everything feels hard than it used to, and what to do about it.

I work with women in Whitby and across Ontario, in person and online.
